This bonfire night, we take a look at our favourite coffee recipe that not only keeps your warm on a freezing November night, but also tastes great. Our drink of choice this year is a pumpkin spiced latte. So without further ado, let’s take a look at what you need to make it…



1 cup milk (skimmed or semi-skimmed depending on whether you want to make it a ‘skinny’ latte!)

2 tablespoons pure pumpkin puree

1 tablespoon sugar

1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, plus more for sprinkling

1 tablespoon Monin vanilla coffee syrup

1/4 cup hot espresso or strong brewed coffee

Whipped cream for serving (optional)



To make this winter warming recipe, first of all get your milk and combine it with your pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin pie spice and vanilla coffee syrup. Move your mixture over to a microwavable bowl, cover in cling film, make a few holes in it and then heat it for a couple of minutes until the milk is hot.

When it comes out of the microwave, whisk your mixture vigorously for about 30 seconds until the milk becomes foamy. Make your coffee/espresso separately and then add the pumpkin milk to it. Finally, add a little whipped cream and some pumpkin spice to the top to finish your drink off.
